Program an absence before the round
Select one or more players in Participants. Choose the future round and the required status: play, full-point bye, half-point bye, zero-point bye or unavailable. Apply the choice to all selected players. The schedule remains visible below the participant table.
Withdraw a player
Open the player card or availability controls and mark the player inactive from the appropriate round. A withdrawn player remains in earlier pairings, results and standings history but is excluded from new pairings.
Change a planned bye
Modify or remove a future entry before generating that round. If the pairing already exists, cancel the round first, correct the availability and regenerate it. Cancelling a round requires confirmation and should be preceded by a backup.
Automatic pairing bye
When the active player count is odd, the pairing engine assigns one pairing bye according to the configured rules and prior bye history. This is distinct from a requested half-point or full-point bye.
Always complete attendance changes before opening the pre-pairing checklist. The checklist is the final opportunity to notice an unavailable player before boards are saved.
